Happy Ascension Day of Jesus Christ

Today, all Christians worldwide commemorate the anniversary of the ascension of Jesus Christ to the heavens. This event is an important milestone in the lives of people who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through this event, we can find several things that form the basis or foundation of our faith:

• The Lord Jesus has triumphed over death, overcame the devil through the crucifixion, and rose on the third day.
• The Lord Jesus promised comforter through the event of the descent of the Holy Spirit or Pentecost.
• The Lord Jesus ascended to the heavens to reserve a dwelling there for His followers.
• The Lord Jesus promised to return to acquire His set of believers.

After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
